All products sold by Pepternity are exclusively intended for laboratory research and in vitro testing purposes only. These products are NOT approved for human or animal use, including any diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Pepternity does not provide guidance on product selection, reconstitution, dosing, or administration. By placing an order, you confirm that you are a qualified researcher, at least 18 years of age, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
- General Terms and Conditions of Sale
1.1 Permissible Use of Products
All products sold by Pepternity are strictly intended for scientific research and development purposes by qualified researchers. These products must NOT be used for:
Human or animal consumption, administration, or self-experimentation
Diagnostic or therapeutic treatments of any kind
The manufacture, development, or production of chemical or biological weapons or controlled substances
Any application that violates applicable federal, state, or local law
1.2 Qualified Purchasers
Purchases may only be made by researchers, scientists, or institutions with the knowledge, equipment, certifications, and secure storage infrastructure required to handle these materials safely and lawfully. By completing a purchase, you affirm that:
You are at least 18 years of age
You are a qualified researcher or acting on behalf of a qualified research institution
You have reviewed and understand the relevant safety data for any products ordered
You accept full responsibility for the safe handling, storage, and disposal of all products
1.3 No Medical or Scientific Advice
Nothing on this website — including product listings, descriptions, labeling, or any communications from Pepternity — constitutes medical, veterinary, or scientific advice. Pepternity does not provide reconstitution protocols, dosing guidance, or administration instructions. Requests for such information may result in cancellation of your order and denial of future service.
1.4 Regulatory Compliance
Products sold by Pepternity may be classified as unapproved drugs, biologics, or research chemicals under applicable law if used outside their intended research context. By placing an order, you expressly affirm that you will:
Use these products solely for lawful scientific research
Not use these products for human or animal use
Comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and institutional regulations governing the possession, handling, and use of research chemicals
Obtain any permits, licenses, or institutional approvals required for your specific research application
1.5 Export and Resale Restrictions
Products may not be exported, resold, or redistributed in any manner that violates applicable law, including:
U.S. export control laws and regulations (including EAR and ITAR where applicable)
International regulations governing biological or chemical substances
Regulations of the destination country
Purchasers are solely responsible for obtaining any required permits or approvals for shipments. Pepternity assumes no responsibility for delays, seizures, penalties, or other consequences resulting from a purchaser’s failure to comply with applicable import or export regulations.
1.6 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from Pepternity. By accepting these Terms, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
1.7 Purchaser Responsibility
Purchasers assume sole and full responsibility for determining the suitability of any product for their intended research application. Pepternity is not responsible for ensuring purchaser compliance with any local, state, federal, or international regulations beyond its point of sale.
- Limitation of Liability
All products are sold “as is” without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pepternity, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates will NOT be liable for any:
Direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
Loss of data, revenue, profits, or research outcomes
Damages arising from the use, misuse, mishandling, storage, or unauthorized application of any product
This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if Pepternity has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in such cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
- Indemnification
By placing an order, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pepternity, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, penalties, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:
Improper, unauthorized, or unlawful use of any product
Misuse, mishandling, or negligent storage of any product
Your violation of these Terms & Conditions
Your violation of any applicable law or third-party right - Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of research compounds and requirements related to quality control, contamination risk, and legal compliance, all sales are final. Returns, exchanges, and refunds are not accepted.
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us at contact@pepternity.com within 5 business days of receipt. We will assess the claim and, at our sole discretion, issue a replacement for verified cases. We reserve the right to request photographic or other documentation before processing any replacement.
- Shipping Policy
Pepternity ships exclusively within the United States. All orders are shipped in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations governing research chemicals. Shipping timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Pepternity is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control.
Risk of loss transfers to the purchaser upon handoff to the carrier. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that the ordered products are legal to possess in their state or jurisdiction prior to ordering.
- Privacy
Pepternity respects your privacy and handles your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. All content on the Pepternity website — including product descriptions, images, branding, and copy — is the property of Pepternity and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission. - Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. - Force Majeure
Pepternity is not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of government, war, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, carrier delays, or internet outages. - Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. - Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies posted on our website, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pepternity with respect to your use of our site and purchase of our products.
